What I do at FreeAgent
I joined FreeAgent in August 2020 to lead the development and delivery of the practice marketing strategy, maximising the number of accountants and bookkeepers (and their clients) using FreeAgent through delivering impactful marketing activity that supports the entire customer lifecycle.
Why FreeAgent
The company lives it’s values. We aim high, but we have fun while we do it. Employees are treated exceptionally well. Career development is actively promoted, alongside flexibility and regular social events.
Who am I?
I’ve worked in B2B SaaS marketing for 18 years, following a brief stint promoting online DVD rental (before Amazon and Netflix helped us all see the light).
My last role was in the Edtech space, at Sumdog, where I was asked to establish a new marketing function, build the corporate brand and identity, and expand the acquisition strategy, creating structure and process for lead generation campaigns.

Advice for prospective candidates
